The Blues: Light Blue Comparisons

Good morning!

Sorry for being such a stranger! Life keeps getting in the way of blogging. As I mentioned in my last post, I'll be doing a few nail wheel post while I try and get my nails back in shape.

Today I have my grey to light blue & turquoise polishes up for comparison.

I have a thing for these kind of shades... I *may* have left out 1 or 2 5 or 6 shades (who's counting?), thanks to lack of space on the wheel.

International Flag Plate B67 Swatches

Good morning all!

Life has been hella busy, so please bear with me while I try to ease myself back into a regular blogging schedule. I've missed it!

Let me be honest, my nails are a big mess right now. I got some stamping plate swatches on paper, and nail wheel comparisons to hold me over while I work on getting my nails back to presentable shape.

Today I have quick and dirty swatches from plate B67 found on E-bay. I paid around 0.95 cents for it, and I bought it solely for the Canadian flag.

I am extremely impressed with how well every detail showed up. Minscule details are hard to get a clean transfer with, even from expensive plates. So getting such clean and complete transfers from cheap e-bay plates makes me one happy lady.

Note: this plate has a thin clear film over it that's very hard to see, you have to peel it off before you can use this plate.

If you're curious, the polish is Konad Red. It stamps well, but doesn't show up over black.

Have a great day!

Hi Gals!

I hope you all had a great weekend. My oldest son is now done school for the year and I'm looking forward to having him home with his younger brothers and myself. Life is so good when you're on the first days of summer vacation :)

Speaking of summer Vacation, this month Lacquer Legion theme is On Holiday. Here is the link to their Facebook Page. I did a simple stamped manicure using palm tree and neon pink.

I used the following:
China Glaze Shocking Pink
Finger Paints Paper Mache
MoYou London Tourist 17
Cult Nails Nevermore

Don't forget to search #LLOnHoliday across social media sites to see some more really amazing manicures.

Born Pretty: QA84 plate review

Sorry I just disappeared for a month! So much crap-ola was going on at my house & life that I needed to drop blogging for a little bit. I missed it so hard!

Today I'd like to share with you a cute little stamping plate I got for review from Born Pretty, QA84.

Before I get in to how adorable the 'i <3 u" images are, I want to take a minute and ask:

Have you seen how great the newest image plates from Born Pretty plates are? I'm itching to place another order (and I seriously JUST ordered plate QA82 a few weeks ago... I'm in love!). Go look for yourself, and if you want, here is my 10% off coupon: ECJ61.

I used all China Glaze polish over white for the distressed/faded look, following Chalkboard Nails tutorial (minus the black)

Cute! I love these hearts!

Images transferred with no problems!

I love the doddle's on this plate and I am definitely going to try distressed manis again.

Thanks for reading! Happy weekend :)
